高晖:5G网络的技术测试

2014年7月，爱立信宣布，在5G无线技术一项无线测试中，传输速度峰值达到了5Gbps。无线传输速度达到5Gbps，意味着比今天的LTE连接标准快了250倍，标志着无线传输速度再创新纪录。这一传输速度，无论对于智能手机，还是汽车、医疗和其他设备而言，均将受益于此。网络达到5Gbps速度，下载一部50GB的电影仅需80秒钟，而这一速度为谷歌光纤1Gbps传输速度的5倍。

但目前5Gbps传输速度仅为实验室理想状态下的数据，而实际商业部署则要等到2020年。据悉，爱立信曾与日本的NTT Docomo、韩国的SK Telecom展开过5G网络测试。爱立信表示，鉴于当前北美市场LTE网络的高普及率，5G网络可能会率先达到这一市场，但截至目前，北美市场尚无运营商对5G网络进行任何承诺。

2016年8月4日，诺基亚与电信传媒公司贝尔再次在加拿大完成了5G信号的测试。在测试中诺基亚使用了73GHz范围内的频谱，数据传输速度也达到了现有4G网络的6倍。
